The Cross Keys Hotel is located in the centre of Canonbie, Scotland, within the valley of the Border Esk River and just off the scenic A7 Carlisle to Edinburgh route.  Situated between Longtown and Langholm, and not far from Gretna and Carlisle, we are the ideal Hotel in which to rest and break your journey when travelling between Scotland and England on the A7. The Cross Keys Hotel, Canonbie, is one of Scotlands oldest Coaching Inns. Built in the 17th Century, this traditional Inn  is the heart of Canonbie village. Although the Hotel has, in recent years, undergone some fairly major internal renovations, it still retains the old world charm and hospitality that it has become so well known for.

Gretna Green, probably the most famous wedding venue in Europe is less than 15 minutes away and we offer top class wedding accommodation for groups of up to 20 guests and a private Function room for up to 60 guests for this purpose.
